Tony Cotignola joined Atlantis Banquets and Events/ Hyatt Place East End & Resort Marina in December of 2010, bringing his broad based Sales experience in the Hospitality Industry to our facility. Tony has over 19 years of New York City, Nassau and Suffolk County experience in the Corporate, Social, Leisure and International markets of the Hospitality Industry. His experiences include Senior Sales Manager for Doral Hotels and Resorts, NYC, where he was a part of the sales team who converted three NYC properties from Doral to the W Hotels. Tony then joined as Director of Group Sales for the Millennium Broadway Hotel where the inception of the CMP, Complete Meeting Package, was launched. He then moved to the Historic Roosevelt Hotel in NYC as Assistant Director of Sales where his focus was on Corporate Sales and well as overseeing the Catering and Conference Service Departments. Tony’s last NYC Hotel experience was with Leona Helmsley at her flagship hotel and her home in NYC as Director of Sales and Marketing of the Park Lane Hotel located on Central Park. Returning to Long Island in April of 2004 Tony worked as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Harrison Conference Center in Glen Cove, The Inn and Spa at Eastwind in Wading River and most recently The Southampton Inn as Director of Sales and General Manager.
Tony is a Graduate of Long Island University, Bachelor of Science in Marketing/ Management, he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
